The Coastal Carolina Equestrian Club gives students an opportunity to learn about equestrian sports. Membership is open to all Coastal students who are interested in horses and horsemanship, whether or not they have prior riding experience.
Members ride with the Coastal Carolina Equestrian Show Team in Hunt Seat Equitation Over Fences and on the Flat. The group that attends shows, the Coastal Carolina Equestrian Club Show Team (hereon referred to as the Show Team) may compete in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association shows throughout the year. The Show Team trains at The Riding Academy located in Conway, South Carolina under the instruction of Jennifer Sansbury.
